Drop-In Hours
Most members of the Exec are trained in listening to people's problems, plus they're really nice too.
Drop In
If you want a chat in confidence over a cup of coffee, to get some information or free sexual health products from us, browse our collection of books or leaflets, or you're just bored and want to say hello, the easiest way to do it is to drop in during the sessions we run all year round - now at both campuses of the University.
Durham Campus
Our office space on Durham Campus is in Dunelm House. It is called 'The Blue Room' (it's not really blue, the last one was, but we moved and the name stuck) which is on Level C of Dunelm House, along the corridor directly opposite Riverside Café. It's one of the quietest parts of the building and so is very discreet and private.
The rota for drop in hours, if you want to talk to a particular Exec Member, or Officer, is:
Monday:
11am-12pm Trish (Campaigns Officer)
Wednesday:
11am-12pm Jay (Open Place President)
2pm-3pm Owen (Secretary)
Thursday:
3pm-4pm Patrick (Welfare Officer)
Friday:
1pm-2pm Tom (Social Secretary)
Or,alternatively, the DSU Education and Welfare Officer, Emma Carter is available during normal DSU office hours should you want to chat to her. Her office is on the top floor of Dunelm
House.
Click, Brr...
Or alternatively you can phone us free from any internal phone on 41772 (outside the Durham University network phone 0191 334 1772) during the same hours for a confidential chat about anything, or for any information. As long as you ring during our designated hours it's our private space, and it'll be one of us that answers the phone!
Queen's Campus
Our office space at the Queen's Campus is the DSU General Office, Room B16, Holliday Building. That's on the ground floor, next to the medicine labs, on the right-hand side. It's our private space during our scheduled hours.

Out of Hours?
Alternatively, if you can't make it to Dunelm House or the Holliday Building during these hours or you'd just prefer not to, we're always happy to make an appointment to see anybody at a time and place of their own choosing on either campus - simply e-mail lgbta@dsu.org.uk in complete confidence
